Stewardship Update 10/28/26

The Short Version:
Ministry "Passports" are here! (Time & Talent)
It's time to consider your 2027 pledges! (Treasure)
Volunteer Opportunities update.
"Passport" Update
We have started to receive your Ministry "Passports" indicating the talents and skills that you feel called to share with us at UPC.
But we want more Passports! If you have not yet submitted one of the purple Passport forms, please pick one up in the Narthex, or call / email the church office to get one. Or, go online and fill out our UPC Time and Talent Interest Form.
Here are the next couple of posters from the Ministry Fair on October 18.
We will dedicate our gifts that we are returning to God at the worship service on Sunday, November 8.
Budget Update
Those of you who attended the worship service last Sunday received an envelope with information about our 2027 budget, a Stewardship flyer, and a pledge form. There was also a chart that may help you to think about how much you are comfortable pledging.
Here are the forms for those who couldn't attend:
*Please note that a
mounts on the Budget Narrative are subject to adjustment, pending Finance Ministry and Session review after we gather pledges on November 8.
The pledge income we will need for a successful 2027 is $276,983.
In comparison, we anticipate that by the end of 2026 we will have received $268,344.
To meet our projected expenses in 2027, we will need an increase of "at least" $8,639 for the year or $720 per month.
Please prayerfully consider how much you can contribute to supporting UPC in the coming year.
Volunteer Opportunities
THANK YOU to our volunteers! This coming Sunday is a Communion Sunday AND the Chili Cookoff! Come and help out! We still have open spots for this coming Sunday - please sign up here if you can help out:
